Mars Holiday 2018

As of now this is just a dream, an imaginary trip. Still, it is nice to be part of this great journey. In 2020 NASA will land a big lander on Mars. For now we are two missions away. With next mission - InSight - everybody can get ticket to Mars.

Just click this link, https://mars.nasa.gov/participate/send-your-name/insight/. Below are my ticket and mission badge. I missed the first mission EFT-1 Orion but I will attach the badge anyway for completeness.

Beautiful Ireland - Ring of Kerry - Valentia Island - Wild Atlantic Way

We love west coast of Ireland. Rough, cold, windy coastline. In here Galway Hooker, Smithwicks, and Guinness taste the best. Freezing cold B&B with electric blankets. Fresh fish. Stunning emerald island wilderness. Castles, ruins and boats. Where random met Americans show up in Ballinskelligs to take pictures of engaging couples. GPS taking us back to Dublin diagonally through Kerry (Ballaghisheen Pass), on the roads where only one car fits at the time. Where you will not see a car, a living soul for miles. Place where the stories are told and the stories are made.

We will be back !

Bray Air Show 2017

Yet another year, yet another Bray Air Display. Was it the best of them all... I am not sure. Did I see cool aircraft, yes. I was really looking forward to see DC-3 and it was great. I did not expect much from F-18 but it took me by surprise, as they do. It was great day out and celebration for all aviation enthusiasts.

Belfast stroll

We had a bit of time in Belfast. We went on a stroll to see botanic garden that is really a park with some very old greenhouse. Obviously, we had to see the march. Ulster Museum on the other hand was great.

Belfast Marathon

One week after running Connemarathon I did marathon in Belfast. Lots of people said I was mad doing two one week apart. Well, it turned out okay. The great thing about this one was the pint I was served along the route. Tastes great on the 20 odd kilometre :)

Connemarathon 2017

There we did it again. Connemarathon was run. Most importantly I helped someone to improve his personal best by 30 min :)
