Connemarathon in the storm
Connemarathon is one of the most scenic and difficult marathons in Ireland. For both of these reasons it is always booked out. This time we were nicely moisturised for the first half. At that stage my Gamin failed from cold or another way. The screen froze at 02:00:03 at half marathon mark. From here it was uphill and against the wind. Every mile I did a squat to stretch the legs. Fight was on. It was cold, wet and windy. It's done now. 4h 16m do not seem that bad after all :)
